I have an inability to walk without muscle pain and back pain. I've been slowly going down hill since my surgery 5 l/i years ago despite my continuing efforts of physical therapy and pain therapy etc.
I'm glad I purchased my TYPHOON SCOOTER because now I am able to get around my house without being exhausted. I now enjoy my home where I was confined mostly to my bedroom.

Dear Mobility Mike:

I'm writing to thank you for your help with selecting my new Merits scooter. I get so many nice comments when I'm out shopping or appointment hopping. Other shoppers, both male and female, have all kinds of questions. They want to know where I got such a "fancy red scooter". Of course, I tell them about Mobility by Design. I always add that you are a physical therapist by profession and how that gives me added confidence in your specialty. In addition to the scooter, the powered lift you outfitted our vehicle with is invaluable. Folks often stop and offer to help my husband lift the scooter into our Explorer. He thanks them and tells them how easy it is to load. Sometimes they stay and watch the process and comment how slick the system works. I appreciate being able to have a full sized scooter and still be able to transport it in our SUV.

The stair lift you installed to our basement is another plus. It's useful even when I'm not using it for what it was intended. The chair makes a wonderful "transport system" for purchases going to or from the basement. It's less likely that my husband will fall while carrying items down the steps now. And, speaking of falling; I'm embarrassed to admit that I fell out of bed on Mother's Day 2006 at 5:30 in the morning. Our feather bed got off the edge of our bed. When I turned over, there was nothing under it but air and I was on the floor with a lot more hurt than my pride. That's when my husband visited your store for side rail for the bed. I didn't think I wanted such a thing but it's really petite and makes getting out of bed so much easier.

This letter was intended to thank you for helping me pick out a scooter. Once I got started, I just wanted to include all the helpful items I've purchased from Mobility by Design.
