Salutations from Mobility Mike Resop

It’s Saturday evening, 4/25/09 and I wanted to give an initial greeting and let you in on what will be featured here. I’ve been practicing physical therapy since 1980 and running a home mobility company in world-famous Gettysburg,PA since 2001.  As a result of my educational background, work, and life experiences I have  solid reasons for recommending certain courses of action in regards to families affected by disability and/or mobility challenges.

I have been writing a column in our local newspaper for years which has been well received in our region.  I trust that publishing some of the recent favorites will be entertaining as well as educational for readers near and far. Answering questions and solving problems really get me excited, so feel free to “Hit me with your be your best shot” as long as the questions are sincere and somehow related to mobility issues, physical therapy, aging in place, and/or home accessibility.  Odds are some of the questions have easy answers, others may be tough and require research and asking other experts, which will be a blast.

My goal is to educate, sometimes entertain, express my professional opinions, serve as an advocate of home accesibility and aging in place’ and offer creative ideas of how to pay for the equipment or modifications you may need. Your feedback is requested. A prosperous relationship amongst us is sought.

Sincere Best Wishes,
‘Mobility Mike’ Resop
